About Sierra Gridley
BIO:
Hello, my name is Sierra Gridley and I am an 18 year old, first-year student at the University of Maine Orono. Im originally from Portland, Maine where I lived with my mom, dad and fish Charlie. During the summers I work at a summer camp where I am a tennis coach. I work with children anywhere from the age of 3 to entering 9th grade. I believe myself to be a funny outgoing person who loves to talk and meet new people. My interests fall over a broad range of categories but some of my main interests consist of photography, surfing, tennis, traveling, music, design, and of course shopping. I believe a strong skill of mine is creating inspiring messages through different uses of media whether is be a movie, picture or a piece of writing. As of now I have a very basic level of knowledge in film, audio, ect. so my ultimate goal is to gain more skill in those areas.
Creative Statement:
Im interested in New Media because I believe it will help me with my ultimate goal of inspiring people with my work. I let everything around me in my everyday life inspire me and motivate me to be creative, and though certain things interest me more than others I do not let them limit me because I believe there is hidden inspiration in everything around us. My main interests consist of traveling, architecture, surfing, and design. Each one of which hold limitless creativeness and inspiration.
